‘take-a-hike’ challenge day-26 keyword: purpose

When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It’s to enjoy each step along the way. —Wayne Dyer

  1. The term “Purpose” can have a very broad meaning, like living a meaningful life, but it can also refer to small things. I am known in my family for loving to do “projects.” I think the reason I love that concept is that each project has a purpose that I can fulfill. Of course, after that one is done, it’s on to the next. I’m no longer a hiker, but I am a “doer,” and try to find ‘Purpose” in what I do.

  2. How timely! Was just listening to Eckhart Tolle (A New Earth) last night on inner purpose.

Then found an article of his on inner purpose (https://www.eckharttolle.com/outer-and-inner-purpose/) and this relating to what we’ve been discussing: “Every thought implies a perspective, and every perspective, by its very nature, implies limitation, which ultimately means that it is not true, at least not absolutely.”

    1. love this! ♥️ I am reading a book about finding dharma and it is so powerful right now. Thank you for this! 🐥👣🎒
