  1. Well done, brave, tenacious and unsinkable hiker! You’ve certainly got the best grin in the North and the South Island! We’ve all enjoyed the journey. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  2. Fabulous audio blog. Would love to hear you, Melissa, Valerie and Christine Sweet reading stories by or about women. You all have wonderful voices that add so much to the words on the page. What about next Women’s History Month? The females wouldn’t have to be (but could be) part of the musical world. (This year’s Women’s History Month has seemed pretty non-existent at MPR. You can only play Joanne Falleta recordings so much. How about women composers like Hildegard of Bingen or opera stars like Beverly Sills and Renee Fleming. They did do a few minutes on Libby Larsen, but still.)

  3. So satisfying to see, and hear, you accomplish your goal. I’m happy that you found yourself at times, “out of your depth.” It’s only then that we discover new resources we didn’t know we had. Congrats Daughtie Dearest!

  4. So peaceful… so… serene. I’ve been trying to come up with the words to describe how this audio narrative made me feel. Thanks for sharing.
